Greetings Kincaid Families!
We look forward to seeing you this week at conferences (unless you are choosing the online option). When you attend your child’s conference this week, please stop by our lost and found tables in the front hallway. Our lost and found is overflowing with coats, jackets, water bottles and much more. We’d love to connect the owners with their lost items!
Remember, ASP clubs do not meet on early release days. Please make sure your GoSafe dismissal is accurate for next week!
THIS WEEK…
Monday, October 16th – Asynchronous Learning Day – Students do assignments from home. Students do not come to school. Please look for communication from your child’s teacher.
Monday, October 16th – Report Cards will be visible on ParentVUE
Tuesday October 17 – 20th
Early Release Days – Students will be dismissed two hours early all week.
Conference Week – your child’s teacher will be scheduling a conference to discuss your child’s progress.
Bus Driver Appreciation Week – Let’s show our drivers our appreciation!
Thursday, October 19th – Panda Express Day – 20% of all sales -ALL DAY = come back to the school!

THE FUN RUN IS COMING!
The annual Kincaid Fun Run is Saturday, November 4th! The Fun Run is a 1 mile run for the students of Kincaid. Sign-up sheets are due by Wednesday, October 25th with the $25.00 entry fee.
Additional T-shirts available for $25.00.
Race schedules are as follows:
- 4th and 5th Grade: 8 a.m.
- 2nd and 3rd Grade: 8:20 a.m.
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade: 8:40 a.m.

Birthday treats can be pre-ordered through the café only by using this order link. Do not send in treats, balloons, or party invitations for select students. Use Membership Toolkit to contact other families about birthday parties

LINK THE STORY
Take turns adding to a story the two of you make up while riding in a car or bus. Children get a better sense of sequence and important details when they do this type of work. It can be a lot of fun to tell funny or spooky stories together. Challenge each other by making characters have dialogue or inner thoughts, and have a little fun by discussing alternate endings to stories
